Don't be fooled by me.
Don't be fooled by the face I wear.
For I wear a mask. I wear a thousand masks-
masks that I'm afraid to take off & none of them are me.
Pretending is an art that's second nature with me
but don't be fooled, for God's sake, don't be fooled.
I give you the impression that I'm secure,
that all is sunny & unruffled with me
within as well as without,
that confidence is my name & coolness my game,
that the water's calm & I'm in command, & that I need no one.
But don't believe me. Please!
My surface may be smooth but my surface is my mask,
My ever-varying & ever-concealing mask.
Beneath lies no smugness, no complacence.
Beneath dwells the real me in confusion, in fear, in aloneness.
But I hide this.
I don't want anybody to know it.
I panic at the thought of my weaknesses & fear exposing them.
That's why I frantically create my masks to hide behind.
They're nonchalant, sophisticated facades to help me pretend,
To shield me from the glance that knows.
But such a glance is precisely my salvation,
my only salvation, & I know it.
That is, if it's followed by acceptance,
& if it's followed by love.
It's the only thing that can liberate me from myself,
from my own self-built prison walls.
I dislike hiding, honestly.
I dislike the superficial game I'm playing,
the superficial phony game.
I'd really like to be genuine & me.
But I need your help, your hand to hold
Even though my masks would tell you otherwise
That glance from you is the only thing that assures me
of what I can't assure myself,
that I'm really worth something.
But I don't tell you this.
I don't dare.
I'm afraid to.
I'm afraid you'll think less of me, that you'll laugh
& your laugh would kill me.
I'm afraid that deep-down I'm nothing,
that I'm just no good
& you will see this and reject me.
So I play my game, my desperate, pretending game
With a facade of assurance without,
& a trembling child within.

The glittering but empty parade of masks,
& my life becomes a front.
I idly chatter to you in suave tones of surface talk.

Anyways, just a quick update about the road rage thingy.
LOLS random I know :X
Daddy horned dam loudly so I looked up
& saw this white car trying to cut into
our car's lane from the right.
Daddy's driving skills damm good de so
he'll beep when necessary <- Lols sounds funny :X
Then the white car de driver don't know he/she
kisiao or what larhs, just slows down,
cut to our lane BEHIND us & to the left lane,
purposely cut to our lane from the left
at high speed & break to like 70km/h la -.-!
Daddy speed up (Woo~ Funn like aeroplane taking off LOLS :X)
& cut to the left lane when the white one drove in front of us :o
Then the white car driver on purpose block our path larhs -.-
So our cars were like dancing with one another zzz!
(Yes, you can hear the screeching of the cars -.-)
Damm stupid larhs that *beep* up driver -.-!
Hope he/she kana accident, bang into tree or lampost!
MUHAHAHAHA I'm evil :D

The junction where this 'accident' took place
was supposed to be drove at the speed of 100km/h?
The white car driver was driving at like 125km/h?

I participated in the Amazing Race today!
We(Joanne, CheeSian & I) ran like kukus~!
Was printing RHT report like some kisiao
(Dumbdumb Joanne still say got a lot of time)
& we're lateeeeee :o
Luckily, it's the nicest tutor we have to submit to~
I LOVE my RHT tutor :D!
He don't mind us being late seh :o
Even offered us to go into his office,
drinks, snacks & sweets :X
We only took the sweets though caus we're
already 10mins late for econs de lecture :X
Speaking of econs lecture,
ROFL, I ALMOST SAT ON THIS GUY'S LAPTOP!
so CheeSian & Joanne started laughing like mad
& the lecturer stared at us for 10 seconds.
Felt like digging his eye balls out -.-!

I'll skip about IntHT, nothing much :o
Half the clique went to watch Harry Potter since
CommSkills was cancelled for some unknown reason.
We didn't go caus I already set that
we're gonna discuss & do our OB~
Went for lecture, blahblahs.
Started with our OB PPT afterwards.
Joanne went kisiao & made our PPT 'bloody'.
I OBJECT OKAY! It's a NO!
Anyways, I skipped choir :/
Didn't wanna blog about it de but might as well.
I was actually pissed & felt really left out...
I don't wanna call & ask where choir will be held
all the time. So I didn't call today.
Sadly, I didn't manage to find where it was.
Sat at the koi pond from 6pm to 6:35pm...
No sight of any members so I went to the other side.
Sat at where pwiinceKOR & I always sat before choir.
No sight of anyone... Nevermind...
Started practicing myself
(Strange that I did that o.o) until 7:15pm :/
Nobody called me so I decided to go home...

Had a 4 hour break today since CommSkills
was cancelled as well today.
Went to Sugarloaf after our BCS lecture :o

Skip about RHT tutorial, nothing much :o
We chiong-ed opposite school during our 1 hour break!
Had KFC, snackers~ x.x!
There's a stupid piece of chicken bone
below where I'm sitting ):!
Had 'free period' during BCS tutorial to do our project.
Designed the flash like siao~
Spent like 3 hours on a stupid ship
moving from left to right with the
sun & sea moving from right to left :o
LOLS. My flash is so cute :X <- BHB :D
Anyways, decided to skip choir again due to that reason...
But mainly cause of the econs project also laaa :/
Dig for my second article like mad larhs.
Seriously, the article analysis is not difficult,
it's the digging of articles part difficult -.-!
Piaa like siao for the market studies at home
but stopped doing it at 3am caus I had no mood :/
24th July `o9, Friday
Had OB presentation today :o
Wore smart casual that doesn't look THAT smart blahs.
Got 19/25 for overall presentation :o
Why isn't it 20? D: Nice try uh -.-!
We'll do better the next presentation :D!
Anyways, chiong-ed econs after presentation :o
Made me skip my OB lecture for the it rawrs!
& dumbdumb larhs hate the make up CommSkills tutorial -.-!
Make me stay from 4pm-6pm! (4pm to around 5:45pm to be exact)
Supposed to meet the SKYchorale alumni
for our 1st meeting but I didn't go ~.~
Had dinner at Hougang Mall. Pepper lunch! (:
After dinner went to walkwalk.
I only remember one thing,

Took extremely long to find my size.

We had lunch before going 'shopping'. (:

Either I'd not been there before or
went there when I was a very little girl :o
Had lunch at an Italian-Japanese kind of restaurant o.o
Forgot the restaurant name LOLS.
